Ricardo Gómez Quiñones graduated on computer systems engineering from the Technological Institute of Superior Sciences (ITESO) in 1992. He worked at IBM for 18 years achieving important international and global experience. Since then, He has been actively supporting diverse projects in Guadalajara and México such as the Software Center (where more than 35 Companies work together to create new and innovative technologies), the National Animation and Videogames Festival “Creanimax” in Guadalajara and the Chapala Media Park, inaugurated in November 2009. Ricardo was appointed as councilman of the Science and Technology Institute in Jalisco (COECYTJAL) and was recently appointed as councilman in the Institute of Information and Technology in Jalisco (IJALTI). He was also President of the Chamber of IT in Jalisco (CANIETI). In the Animation Industry in México Ricardo has been recognized as important leader and received the award as the IT Industrial of the year in Jalisco by the Industrial council of Jalisco (CCIJ), recognized by the President of Mexico Felipe Calderon Hinojosa (July 2012). KAXANMedia Group, or simply KMG, is a Mexican company based in Guadalajara, Jalisco dedicated to the creation and positioning of Creative Intellectual Property (CIP) mainly through 3D animation film production and multiplatform videogame development. There are three strategic business units within KMG: Kaxan Studios (KS), Kaxan Games (KG) and Kaxan Campus (KC).
