Biography

Dr. Mario Adrian Flores Castro is the Campus President of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara, a position he has held since January 2014. Previously he was Campus President of Campus León for over 4 years and Campus Irapuato for over 7 years (both in Guanajuato state). Also, he was dean of undergraduate and graduate programs at at Campus San Luis Potosi.

Before joining the academic world, he worked for over ten years at companies such as The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and Continental Tires. He has broad experience in the academic world, entrepreneurship, research, innovation and human capital development based on business coaching.

He currently is part of the team representing Mexico in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). The GEM is an international organization that monitors the entrepreneurial phenomenon in most countries of the world.

Adrian holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management. He has conducted research in England, the United States and Latin America. He also holds a degree in Master in Science in Industrial Engineering and is a Mechanical Engineer. In addition, he has advanced certification in Senior Ontological Coaching from Newfield Consulting.
