Biography

Francisco is the Co-Founder & CTO of Konfío, an online lending platform that uses alternative data to provide credits for working capital. He is responsible for exploring, building and maintaining all technological assets used by the company. He is also in charge of the technology team, which is spread across all groups. Francisco is originally from León, México, where he lived until he was 19.
Before Konfío, Francisco worked in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Federal Government E.P.A. in 2006, then spent 7 years in the Business Intelligence Firm MicroStrategy, based out of New York, serving mainly Citibank as client, leading as software architect for commercial credit cards. He earned America’s Team award in Q1 2012 and Q1 2013 and Employee of the Quarter in Q3 2012. He also spent 2 years as Business Intelligence Architect in AIG Investments, producing CXO level tech assets for their 360B USD portfolio. Francisco has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he graduated with honors from ITESM Campus Monterrey. He also has a diploma from The Washington Center on Business and Technology. He hosted Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, on Campus during his senior year. He speaks English as native and has a FCE, CAE and CPE from Cambridge University.
