Biography

Fernando Gordoa has been General Manager, Service Management BU of Volteo since 2014. Volteo is a hyper fast-growing Service Management and Internet of things international consulting firm. With locations across four main regions: North America, Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

Fernando was born in Mexico City and is a passionate, self-driven, entrepreneurial, digital transformation leader. As Volteo’s General Manager, Service Management BU, he leads a team of executive innovators and disruptive leaders. This team works hand-in-hand with executives from leading global companies to define, build, implement, and support their digital transformation strategies.

Prior to his current role, Gordoa served as the lead of the global service management program at Flex, a $26 billion turnover global industrial manufacturing leader. During his time at Flex, he held a variety of IT leadership and service management positions.

Early in his young professional career, Fernando worked for 5 years on the business process outsourcing world, serving banking, retail, and technology industry verticals at Teletech.

As part of his social responsibility, Mr. Gordoa serves on the business engagement board at Tecnológico Mario Molina, a 13-campus university network which is part of Mexico’s national technology consortia and is one of the most important high-level education institutions in the state of Jalisco.

Fernando holds an International business graduate degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and holds various certifications in Six Sigma, Project Management, and Management. Gordoa is the father of a 2-year-old girl and is happily married.
