Cuco Vega

Centro Jalisco, Executive Director

Biography

Cuco is the Executive Director of the non-profit, Centro Jalisco — the State of Jalisco’s international office in San Francisco — working as the official liaison between Jalisco’s innovation ecosystem and Silicon Valley. He is key in promoting the synergy and collaboration between companies, entrepreneurs, government, education, and capital.

Cuco’s career began in engineering but quickly moved to design, working for some of Silicon Valley’s top companies in both the Software and Biotech industries. Seeing a gap in the design practice, Cuco left Citrix in 2014 to start his own digital agency —TWO22— and later co-founded Bexi, a Design-as-a-Service startup, where he now serves as an advisor. His background in engineering and design are just the complement to his most important skill: connecting people.
