Biography

Chris has been practicing public accounting since 1988, beginning her career in the federal tax practice and specializing in international tax planning for inbound and outbound businesses for over a dozen years. Chris has extensive experience with Subpart F issues, export incentives, cash planning, and treaty planning. She works closely with internal accounting and tax teams with respect to international tax needs, implementing and monitoring transfer pricing strategies, conducting due diligence reviews, and establishing global service platforms. 

Chris has worked with clients in several industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, and technology, and has experience with public, private equity, and closely held ownership groups. She serves as the firm’s Latin America tax services liaison, ensuring seamless global relationships for clients.

She has extensive experience with Subpart F issues, export incentives, cash planning, withholding documentation and reporting, and treaty planning. She works closely with internal accounting and tax teams with respect to international tax needs, implementing and monitoring transfer pricing strategies, conducting due diligence reviews, and establishing global service platforms.  Chris supports the financial services industry group, providing portfolio company acquisition tax structuring services, PFIC testing, US income tax compliance and withholding and investor documentation advice for funds and alternative investment vehicles.

She has worked with not-for-profit organizations in several capacities: US international tax compliance outsourcing for university endowment funds and community funds, international planning for USAID contractors and other organizations with operations outside the US, and structural planning for international expansion for the Section 501(c)(3) community. She has assisted in setting up global service teams for international service needs, and coordinated advisory work with respect to employee and VAT issues. Chris’s not-for-profit clients include an Ivy League university endowment fund, a “B corp” established by a publicly traded company, conservancy organizations and large international aid organizations.
