Since July 2016, Adriana has held the position of Director of the Venture Capital and Mezzanine team for the Fondo de Fondo of Mexico.
Over the past decade, she has been a leader in portfolio management and public/multilateral fundraising in Mexico. In 2013 she was part of the founding team at the National Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM), where she designed and lead (grants and co-investment) programs focus on boosting the young financial ecosystem for high impact entrepreneurs, helping to re-launch the National Guarantees System with the National Investment Bank (NAFINSA) and the most successful platform to co-invest with first time fund and fist time fund managers (35 new investment vehicles 2013-2015).
Adriana has been a part of the Entrepreneur Venture Capital Fund CONACYT-NAFIN* since 2004. She is a founding member of the first public capital fund for technology and scientific entrepreneurs, where she led the negotiation and closing of 44 investments (US$20 million) in seed and venture transactions throughout Mexico. Also she has collaborated in the design of the strategy to create the venture capital industry in Mexico, which included the launching of the first venture capital fund of funds Mexico Ventures 1 (US$100 million).
